Scandal

Well, its practically on the tongue of most Bermudians right now. Some have made up their minds as to what has happened, what needs to happen, and what should have happened. But there are still those of us that truly would like some real, substantive responses to unanswered questions. I had the opportunity to listen to the radio on Hott 107.5 this morning where Khalid Wasi of the ABC Party was being interviewed by Thaao.... or was he? Hark, there is a caller on the line with a "question"... well gosh!! It was Wayne Caines, the Premier's Chief of Staff on the line (coughsetupcough)... It was less of a 'question' and more of a PLP press release... but in this 'question' he tried a invent a scenario that would better explain how we should look at this BHC scandal.

I am not sure about anyone else, but I hardly need anyone explaining to me something that is already quite clear. Yes, its upsetting to some that these documents have been released (not to me though). What Mr Caines and the people he represents would have us believe is that the crime here is the actual act of Leaking, (or Stealing) of these documents... never mind what they actually say.... in fact they would like nothing better than for them to disappear (which by all accounts they have.. Is Scotland Yard looking into that??).

I am just waiting for the day (soon?) when the rest of the documents are disseminated and then I'll be anxious to hear the explanations emanating from that camp.
